This month we have been sharing ideas on the topic of taking care of yourself or another way to say it self-care. Over the past few days, we have shared ideas in a daily challenge for you to practice the habit. Today, the Self-Care Challenge is on day 6! Our topic today is Take Care Of Yourself Tip - Do Something Creative For Your Best Life.
Congrats! You have now made it halfway through this blog series challenge, learning the basics of self-care.

And day 6? It is all about doing something creative. Practicing self-care in your life isn’t just about writing in a journal, reading a book, or taking a bath. Sometimes, it is also good to incorporate more creative activities in your life. You don’t need to be artistic to benefit from being more creative.
It allows you not only to relax and take time for yourself, but it uses a different part of your brain. This creative part of your brain can come alive when you dedicate just a few minutes a day to an activity of your choice.
Choosing the Right Creative Activity
One thing to know is that there are no rules for what you can or can’t do. If you know how to knit or love to draw, definitely do that! Consider your own preferences, talents, and skills when thinking about creative activities that help with self-care.
You might also want to learn something new, like making jewelry, write poems or begin learning how to watercolour.
You can do something on the computer as well, from learning web design to mastering Photoshop.
There are so many different options available that will channel your inner creative master, while also taking more time for yourself.

We appreciate that it never seems as if there are enough hours in the day, but it is so important to make a conscious decision to practice self-care. Taking care of your mind, body and emotional needs will help you be able to live your best life.
You are your best advocate; if you are not taking care of yourself, it is easy to get burned out by all of life's demands. Taking even just 15 minutes a day for yourself to regroup and relax can have a profound impact on your well-being. Self-care begins and ends with you!
