Not having enough energy is a common complaint in our modern world. But did you know we tend to go about fixing this problem in entirely the wrong way?
Typically, when we’re tired, the first thing we think to do is to sit down and rest for a bit. This only feeds into the problem. The more you sit, the more tired you'll feel. This is why it's so important to get up and move around more.
How you work this small bit of exercise in the day is entirely up to you.
What is the quickest way to go about it? Simply stand up.
That is right just stand up for 2 minutes. Now while you are standing with good posture, practice breathing.
Inhale through your nose for the count of 4, pause and hold for the count of 4, exhale through your pursed lips for the count of 4 and pause and hold for the count of 4. Do 1 – 3 rounds of this breathing while standing. Make sure your shoulders are relaxed while you do the breathing practice. Feel yourself relax. Let go of any stress you might be holding on to in your body.
Do this exercise at least once an hour to help improve your vitality, creativity, and reduce stress during the day.
