In 2017 during a stressful life event, I decided to go out every day for a walk in my neighbourhood.
I did this for a year in all kinds of weather. How do I know how far I walked?
I used an app on my phone that counted steps. Over 3 million steps in one year.
Walking has helped me get outside every day, move well, reduce stress, improved my sleep and helped me think through complex life and business issues in my life.
You can read about this here and here
I used the walking app and joined a Monthly walking challenges and did a minimum of 200,000 steps per month.
I continue my practice of getting out for a morning walk to this day.
